WEEK OF NOVEMBER 28th - DECEMBER 2nd
INTRODUCTION TO
CRITICAL MEDIA LITERACY
This week will serve as a transition week for us. We'll be finishing our work with Unit 2 and the Human Library Project as well as beginning Unit 3 by exploring critical media literacy. Since we do not have a lot of time between now and our winter break, we'll be splitting our unit up into two parts: 1) critical media literacy lessons and activities and 2) our upcoming class novel Hollow Fires by Samira Ahmed.
Let's take a look at why understanding the media around us may be important to understanding how it serves us and our communities.
