Sarah Bonner

I am a 19 - year veteran teacher currently teaching 8th grade Language Arts at Heyworth Junior High School in Heyworth, IL. Along with being a veteran teacher, I am also a certified reading specialist, current doctoral candidate, and an adjunct professor for Illinois State University for the School of Teaching and Learning. When I'm at home, I am also a mom and a partner - my son will be 10 years old this fall and heading into 4th grade and my partner, Michael, works for Country Financial in Bloomington.

I am passionate about all things reading and writing and feel like I have the best job in the world because I get to share my passions with young adults every single day...It's always a great day to be a Hornet!
