UNIT

Imagining Possibilities
Through Ideation

“When you learn something from people, or from a culture, you accept it as a gift, and it is your lifelong commitment to preserve it and build on it.”

- Yo-Yo Ma, American Cellist and Culture Activist

Throughout this next unit, we will explore the issues that face our communities, think about ways in which others take action, and create demonstrations that give us voice to speak out around those issues. Not only will we be thinking about the issues that we experienced in the last unit, but we will also center our thinking around issues that matter to us. We’ll be asking questions, collecting research, playing with different art forms, and ultimately constructing protest art pieces that represent our own views.

Unit 4
Essential Questions
